I did a collection of mock-ups for a New York based company called Ubershare. While none of these three different looks ended up as the final result, much of the ground we covered during the process was instrumental in the final design of the site.

HaveMyShift allows employees of the service industry the ability to manage and exchange shifts. Focusing primarily on Starbucks employees in the greater Chicago area, this company has the scalable legs to go far. Here are a few steps to how we arrived at this design:

This was a one-off flash project for Zagat. A photo contest for their users the winner of which got an all expenses trip to Las Vegas. Pretty simple animations transitioning from uploading, to rating, with some basic content in the pop-ups. Some interiors below:

This was a wordpress site for a local high school sports blog. The client and I really worked closely together to get this one right where we wanted it. I have continued to do design work for them, and am pretty pleased with the over all look that their collaterals have.

Standnow.org site look and feel

This was one of several roughs that we came up with for a re-design of the current stand website. Though we ended up with something else entirely, i really liked where this one was going. I felt like it really emphasized the major points of navigation.

Pledge 2 Protect site design

Pledge 2 Protect was a 3 day event in Washington, DC sponsored by three major anti-genocide organizations. There were over 2000 people in attendance, mostly students. We had to turn this site around in basically 3 days from start to finish. I think it turned out awesome given the timeline.

Never Ignore, Never Forget site design

Never Ignore, Never Forget is a non-profit founded by Matthew Heck. Based out of Wichita, Kansas Matt and a team of runners participate in a relay across the nation to raise money for genocide awareness. The main feature in the race is navigating the nations roads. With that in mind we pulled much of our inspiration from street signage, and the various items one comes across on the journey.

This look and feel was for a fashion designer. The love the way it looks, but its a matter of doing it right, and once we have a budget that permits, we are going full speed ahead with a flash site.
